I Face Deichmann Boots Letting Water In Despite Paid Waterproof Treatment

I purchased a pair of women’s boots from the Deichmann store at Ankara Kızılay AVM in October. During the purchase, the staff did not clearly explain the actual level of water resistance of the boots. I was told that after an additional paid coloring/processing service, the boots would definitely not let water in. Based on this assurance, I agreed and paid extra for the service.
However, on the second day of wearing the boots, still in October and during the first rainfall, the boots let water in and my feet got wet. This clearly showed that the information provided at the time of purchase and during the paid processing was inaccurate, and that the product did not perform as promised.
After experiencing this issue, we returned the boots to the same store. We were told that the product would be sent for inspection, but since then, no one has contacted us or provided any feedback. I request that these boots—which allowed water in despite the paid process and the guarantee given—be refunded or exchanged without causing any further loss of time.
