I purchased a Huawei tablet for my child because he has a talent for drawing and I wanted to encourage him to further develop his skills. I later decided to buy the advertised brand's keyboard, but the keyboard and tablet would not pair. The problem persisted even after I returned the first keyboard and bought a new one. I eventually sent both the tablet and the keyboard to Huawei for warranty repair. They first told me that the motherboard was faulty, then that the main camera was also broken. When I went to pick up the tablet, they wouldn't let me check it out before leaving, and it turned out that it wouldn't even turn on. They took it back to the service center after keeping me waiting for hours and eventually informed me that it was ready for pickup. When I arrived, however, they informed me that the keyboard would need to be replaced and that the keyboards they had tried on my tablet were also defective. I refused to accept the tablet until both the tablet and the keyboard were fully operational. When the company refused to comply again, I took my case to the Consumer Arbitration Committee, which ordered that the tablet and keyboard be replaced. Despite numerous attempts to contact the company, they did not follow through. I've been dealing with this issue since September and plan to file a legal complaint soon. I'm sharing my story to draw attention to the poor customer service experience I had with Huawei in Turkey.
