I purchased my Omen by HP Laptop 17-ck1037TX (80A38PA) as a brand-new product on December 20, 2024, from the Coupang e-commerce website in South Korea. However, when I checked the HP Support Assistant and the official HP website, I saw that the warranty expiration date was listed as March 28, 2023, which is long before my actual purchase date. In other words, the warranty of this newly purchased device appears as already expired in your system. I preferred HP because I trusted the brand, and encountering such a basic warranty problem with a new device is very disappointing. Previously, I had an overheating issue and spontaneous shutdowns with the device, but that problem was subsequently resolved. However, a critical problem has now emerged regarding the battery. During completely normal use, without gaming, the battery charge drops at a rate of approximately 1% per minute. Such a rapid decrease in battery life clearly indicates a serious hardware defect, such as dead cells, and suggests that the product was inherently defective (a non-conforming good) from the very beginning. On August 16, 2025, I submitted a detailed support ticket via HP Support Assistant, attaching my invoice and all necessary documentation to clarify the situation. In that application, I requested the correction of my warranty status and a free-of-charge resolution for my battery problem. Despite the considerable time that has passed since then, I have not received any response, no action has been taken, and no information has been provided to me. Since this device is covered under international warranty, it also falls within the warranty and corporate responsibility scope of HP Türkiye, which is where I currently reside. I request that my warranty information be urgently corrected in your system, that my laptop be accepted as under active warranty in line with my purchase date, and that the battery issue be resolved free of charge within the scope of this warranty. I also request written confirmation that my warranty details have been updated correctly. If this situation is not resolved and my justified demands are not met, I will be compelled to pursue my legal remedies through the Consumer Court. Note: According to law, the warranty period for brand-new products must commence on the delivery/invoice date to the consumer. Therefore, I demand that my device's warranty start date be officially updated based on my purchase invoice, and the ongoing battery defect be resolved under warranty through a free-of-charge repair or battery replacement.
