HP Omen Vector Gaming Mouse Supply And Return Issue, Under Warranty
On April 22, 2023, I purchased an HP Omen Vector Gaming Mouse from the Media Markt branch in Kentpark, Ankara. After one year, the mouse malfunctioned; when connected to the computer, it does not work at all and does not light up. Since the product was under warranty for two years, I took it to Media Markt and contacted HP technical support. They assured me they would send me a replacement under warranty (May 14, 2024). A week later (May 21, 2024), they informed me that the mouse could not be supplied and offered a substitute product, the 925030-001 sps- HP Omen 600 Mouse, which I accepted. After a month, I called them and they said they would speed up the process. Two weeks later, when I contacted them again, a customer representative informed me that even the substitute product couldn't be supplied, and they would escalate it to the relevant department. Today (July 1, 2024), they called me and said they can only offer a refund. Now the issue begins. With the 579 TL I paid in 2023, I cannot purchase an equivalent mouse today. Furthermore, as of today (July 1, 2024), the same mouse is being sold at Teknosa for 889 TL (https://www.teknosa.com/hp-omen-vector-8bc53aa-16000-dpi-oyuncu-mouse-siyah-p-788400042). This brand, which fails to supply its own product, fails to communicate the process, does not value its customers, and lacks professionalism, has disappointed me. The faulty mouse cannot be supplied, and I am only offered an amount (579 TL) that cannot purchase a similar mouse at present. Then what is the point of the warranty? I will definitely not choose HP again.
