When I purchased my Hotpoint 12,000 BTU air conditioner, I was promised a 10-year compressor warranty. Despite ensuring all maintenance was performed by authorized service centers, the compressor failed in its 6th year.
To my surprise, no one is addressing the issue, even though it’s clearly under warranty. I cannot understand why a product advertised with a 10-year warranty is being ignored after the sale. Is the warranty only valid until the product is sold?
Hotpoint, this situation is unacceptable. I demand immediate action to honor the warranty and repair or replace the compressor. Ignoring customers who trusted your brand for quality and reliability severely damages your reputation. Please resolve this issue promptly.
