I Booked on Hotels.com Without a Time Slot and Had to Cancel Immediately

On June 28, 2025, around midnight, I made a reservation through Hotels.com intending to check into the hotel immediately for a one-night stay. However, after booking, I noticed that no time was specified in the confirmation, which made the entire reservation unclear and practically useless for my situation. I needed to stay the same night, and the system either misentered or failed to clarify the check-in details.

Seeing this issue, I immediately sent a cancellation email—within minutes. Thankfully, no payment had been processed, but I still wanted to officially confirm the cancellation with the company. That’s when the real frustration began: Hotels.com provides no phone number to call, and there is no direct or fast way to communicate with support.

This lack of transparency and the inability to reach a live person is extremely concerning. What kind of service doesn’t allow its customers to resolve time-sensitive issues quickly? I demand that Hotels.com improves its real-time booking accuracy and provides a reliable communication channel, especially for urgent cases like this. Customers shouldn't be left in the dark with no help when travel plans are involved.
