Hot Wheels Mazda RX-7 Packaging Contains a Different Car

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, while looking through the Hot Wheels section at the Rossmann store in Antares AVM in Ankara, I noticed that one of the cars I inspected was labeled “Mazda RX-7” on the underside of the packaging, but the car inside the package was actually a completely different and unrelated fantasy model. Because of this mismatch, I decided not to purchase the product.

Having the model name displayed on the packaging or product differ from the actual car inside creates a misleading situation, especially for customers who are specifically looking for Hot Wheels models for collecting purposes. Collectors often purchase products based on the exact model shown or identified on the packaging, so these types of packaging or labeling errors can result in customers unintentionally purchasing the wrong model.

I did not speak with any store employee about this issue at the time. However, I believe that other customers could easily encounter the same problem if these products are not checked carefully before being placed on the shelves.

I request that Rossmann take greater care when checking the products and labels in the Hot Wheels section to prevent similar mix-ups from occurring. In addition, as a goodwill gesture to compensate for the inconvenience and disappointment I experienced as a customer and collector, I would appreciate it if Rossmann could send me a branded Hot Wheels car.

I hope this issue will be taken seriously and that the necessary checks will be implemented to prevent similar product mismatches from affecting other customers.
