Hoover Delivered a Damaged Dishwasher

A damaged product was delivered from Hoover, but we accepted it as the damage wasn't visible in the packaging. When the technical support team arrived to assemble the product, they discovered that the front cover had collapsed inside. Despite buying the product earlier and waiting for its installation, the supplier who sold the Hoover item started accusing us of causing the damage. This led us to contact Hoover directly to explain the situation, initiating a lengthy waiting period. Without a dishwasher, our family of four, including my elderly mother, had to wash dishes by hand, making life very challenging. I made repeated calls to Hoover for days and weeks, seeking a resolution and support. However, each time I called, I was given different excuses or was treated as if my story was unheard. Their lack of response continued for weeks. Eventually, their intimidation tactics worked, and I ended up paying for the product repair myself. In essence, Hoover's policy forced me to bear the repair and replacement costs for a brand-new machine that I never got to use. This experience has left me financially strained, physically exhausted, and morally disappointed. I no longer have any trust in this brand and strongly advise against it due to its complete lack of customer support, especially after sales. Hoover's performance has been a significant letdown, revealing its amateur approach in the electronics and white goods industry. I have learned that established and reputable brands should not be replaced lightly. I caution anyone against inviting this brand into their home, as my ordeal involved not only monetary losses but also physical and emotional exhaustion. Once again, Hoover has proven to be a profound disappointment.
