I purchased an Honor Magic V2 smartphone from Vatan with an 18-month warranty, and about 10 days ago, I noticed serious screen problems. First, a round black spot appeared on the right corner, then similar spots appeared on the bottom right and bottom left corners. Shortly after, a large bubble formed across the middle of the screen protector. When I tried to remove the protector to check, the entire middle section of the display went black.
I immediately sent the phone to service (tracking number 2502450309), but instead of acknowledging that the issue developed on its own, I was told the device was out of warranty simply because I removed the screen protector. The service then demanded ₺42,000 for repair. This is unacceptable, as the screen damage started before I ever touched the protector, and such defects should clearly be detectable by proper inspection.
This is the first time I have experienced such a failure, and given that my device is still well within its warranty period, I expect Honor to cover the repair free of charge or provide a replacement device. I request that this issue be resolved urgently, as leaving a customer with such a high repair bill for a warranty device is unfair and damaging to trust in the brand.
