I am writing about several unauthorized charges related to something called “Hint” that have been taken from my Apple Pay account, even though I have never knowingly signed up for or approved any such app or service. My child was using my phone, and I believe these payments were made completely by mistake, without my knowledge or consent, while they were on the device. On 1/5/2026, there was a charge of 0.50, on 1/12/2026 a charge of 29.99, on 2/11/2026 another 29.99, and on 3/13/2026 a further 29.99, all through Apple Pay. These payments do not appear clearly when I try to view or manage them on Apple’s website, so I cannot even see the details of the subscription or app that is causing them. I still do not know what “Hint” is, what it does, or how it was activated on my account. I am requesting a full refund of all the Hint-related charges taken from my Apple Pay card and the immediate cancellation or blocking of any ongoing or future payments related to this service. I would also like my account checked so that similar accidental or unauthorized charges cannot occur again without my explicit approval.
