Hint App Complaint About Charge Without Even Notice

Today I was charged $44.99 in connection with the Hint app through Apple Pay, and I was not informed about this transaction in any clear way. I did not receive any email or in‑app confirmation or receipt for this purchase; I only see the charge on my Apple Pay and bank statement, which makes the situation even more concerning. After noticing the charge, I contacted Hint support to clarify and request help, but they responded that they do not see any charge on their side. This leaves me in a difficult position, because the money has clearly been taken from my account, yet the app claims there is no record of it, and I am not being assisted in resolving the issue. I am requesting a full refund of the $44.99 that was charged without proper notice or confirmation, and a clear explanation of how this unauthorized or unconfirmed payment occurred.
