Hellotickets is Evading Taxes By Understating Invoice Amounts
I purchased Bon Jovi concert tickets through Hellotickets on December 17, 2025, for the event to be held in London on September 4, 2026, under invoice number INT259140. A total amount of 11,354.49 TL was charged to my credit card, while the invoice issued by Hellotickets only reflects 65.86 EUR. This difference is very substantial, and I was not clearly informed about this price disparity or any additional service charges at the time of purchase. I find this situation misleading and unacceptable. On May 23, 2026, I contacted Hellotickets via email regarding this discrepancy. In their response, they stated that the extra amount was a service fee and that the invoice had not been issued in full. In practice, this means that a higher amount was collected from me than what is shown on the official invoice, which I consider completely unacceptable and potentially constituting tax evasion. Despite my complaint, no alternative solution such as a partial refund, full refund, or voucher has been offered to me. I clearly and unequivocally request a full refund of the entire 11,354.49 TL that was charged to my card for this purchase, without any deduction or partial solution. If this issue is not resolved promptly and the full amount is not refunded, I will initiate a chargeback process with my bank and submit formal complaints to the relevant consumer protection and tax authorities. I expect a clear and written response within 3 business days. As supporting evidence, I am attaching the invoice issued by Hellotickets and the bank statement screenshot showing the total amount charged.
