I Was Deceived By Teknosa And Gulf Insurance

I believe last month, on August 19, 2023, I bought an Apple Watch SE 8 44mm for my spouse as a birthday gift from Teknosa. Despite my initial reluctance, they convinced me to get insurance or whatever it's called, claiming it covers all user errors, so I went ahead and got it. I gave the watch to my spouse in the evening. However, the next morning, when my spouse went out to get protective cases for it, the watch was accidentally dropped. Understandably, we wanted to use the insurance I had paid extra for, so we contacted Gulf Insurance. After about three weeks, they informed me that they couldn't process the claim and instead offered a gift voucher covering 60% of the value. Excuse me? If there's no claim to be processed, why did we get the insurance and pay extra for it? What kind of irregularity is this? Moreover, they mentioned that they would take possession of the watch if we accepted the gift voucher covering only 60%! What kind of audacity is this? It seems like I will have to resolve this matter through legal means. I understand that I will need to take both Teknosa and the insurance company to court. They are taking money, offering a supposed benefit, and then threatening to take possession of my product without any actual processing of the claim. I will pursue my rights in court, and nobody should engage in such deceitful practices. We'll see you in court as well!
