Gulf Insurance's Irresponsibility and Endless Demands
I purchased a Lenovo tablet from Teknosa in November 2022. By February 2023, a black spot had appeared on the screen. As I had insured the device, I requested a screen replacement. Teknosa informed me that the matter should be resolved through their intermediary, Gulf Insurance. Consequently, I sent my tablet to Gulf Insurance via PTT and filed a claim. However, their response was a joke—a meager gift voucher. Their response came after an excessively long delay. They suggested using the allocated gift voucher to purchase a tablet case. Acting in good faith, I made another request, asking them to calculate the price difference and replace the screen. Of course, they didn't respond. When I called them and offered to deposit the requested amount of 1,682 TL, they confirmed that the repair would proceed. I requested their response after submitting the necessary documents and paying the requested amount. Once again, they didn't respond. On July 10, 2023, I called them, and they mentioned a price discrepancy due to the holiday period. It's been over two weeks since the holiday. In summary, the product I purchased in November 2022 is still not in my possession, and instead of resolving my issue, they keep demanding more money each passing day. I am deeply disappointed with both Teknosa's lack of concern and Gulf Insurance's irresponsibility. I will share my experience across all platforms. I have all the necessary information, including the invoice number K8M2022000005032 and the file tracking number 20230921642.
