Warranty on My Grundig Refrigerator Wasn't Extended Despite Being Told Otherwise
We bought a Grundig refrigerator; the service delivered and installed it. They offered to extend the warranty for 4 years in exchange for ₺249, and I accepted. The installation technicians told me they had entered the device into the system and that if any issues arose, the extended warranty would appear in the system. However, they didn't give me any receipts or documents. Years passed, and in the 4th year, the refrigerator broke down. When I called the service, they said I had no warranty. Even though I insisted that I had extended it to 7 years, they said there was nothing they could do without proof. In short, they took the money for the warranty extension, but it was never actually extended. Take my advice: never trust Arçelik Grundig services or products. The products break down quickly, and the extended warranty they promise is worthless. We were deceived.
They did not provide any assistance after selling such a low-quality product, and it was a mistake to even think that they would stand behind it. As I said, think twice before extending the warranty or buying brands like Grundig, Arçelik, etc., and never buy them because they are scammers.
