Please Fix Leo Grok Voice
I am writing to report an issue with the updated Leo voice in the Grok app on Android and in the Grok app on PC through the web browser. Since the update on March 26, 2026, Leo’s voice has changed significantly and has become very unpleasant and difficult to listen to for longer periods. The new version of Leo now sounds congested, raspy, overly breathy, too gravelly and too nasal, as if he has a sore throat or a cold. At the end of sentences there is also a noticeable clicking or popping noise. Because of this, the voice feels muffled and strained instead of clear and natural. Before this update, Leo had a clear British accent, a smooth tone and a polished, confident sound that was easy to understand and enjoyable to use. I reported this problem through the app last night when I first heard the new version. My expectation is that you either restore the previous Leo voice or at least give users the option to choose between the old Leo voice and the new version. Many users, including myself, preferred the earlier voice because it was much cleaner, more natural and more comfortable to listen to. I kindly request that you review this recent update to Leo’s voice, address the congestion‑like, raspy and noisy qualities, and restore the original accent and clarity or provide it as an alternative voice option so that users can choose the version that works best for them.
