I'm taking the Greyhound out of a station I've never been to before. How early should I arrive for my ride?

Greyhound advises arriving at the station 30 minutes before departure. If you're unfamiliar with the station, add 15-30 minutes to Greyhound's recommendation. Allow 45–60 minutes before departure to navigate and settle in.

Consider arriving earlier if you need to check a lot of luggage, buy a ticket at the station, or need extra help due to mobility issues. Arriving 1-1.5 hours before departure streamlines boarding and reduces stress. Arriving early gives you time to finish tasks and board your Greyhound bus comfortably.
