Green Motion Charges Customer Multiple Unexplained Fees After Car Rental

On January 16, 2025, I rented a Renault Clio from the Green Motion Istanbul Airport branch, and I returned the vehicle on January 28, 2025. During the rental period, the company changed the vehicle on January 21, 2025; however, at the end of the process, I was charged multiple fees that were never clearly explained and do not match my own calculations. On January 27, 2025, $91 was charged to my credit card, and additional deductions were also taken from the security deposit.

According to the checks I performed on the official website of the General Directorate of Highways, my total toll charges for the relevant license plates and dates amount to only $46, which is clearly documented. After deductions from the deposit, I also made an additional payment of $3 to the company following an email sent to me on March 27, 2025. While I believed the matter had been fully settled after all these payments, today another charge of $97 was made to my credit card without any explanation.

There is no detailed invoice or breakdown provided; it is completely unclear which charge corresponds to which service, and it is evident that duplicate charges have been applied. This situation has caused me serious financial and emotional distress. Additionally, when I contacted the company, I was told that I would receive a response within three business days, yet six business days have passed with no response and no information about when the issue will be resolved.

Regarding my reservation number RNT-552033, I demand that all amounts charged to me be explained in writing and itemized line by line, that all charges be detailed in a manner consistent with the official Highway Authority records, and that any unjust or clearly duplicate charges be refunded to my credit card immediately. Otherwise, I hereby state that I will file complaints with the Consumer Arbitration Board and pursue all applicable legal remedies.
