I rented a car from Green Motion Istanbul Airport between December 19 (Friday) and December 27 (Saturday). From the very beginning, this turned into a complete car rental nightmare. When I arrived at the office, the vehicle I had reserved was not available. Instead, another car was provided, which displayed a serious engine warning immediately after leaving the airport parking lot. We spent hours trying to contact the company, experienced significant stress, lost valuable time, and felt unsafe. Eventually, we had to return the car and request a replacement. The second vehicle provided was a Renault Clio. Unfortunately, the real problem occurred with this car. On December 26, 2025, while driving on the Tekirdağ highway, the vehicle completely broke down during an emergency hospital trip. We were stranded on the highway and were unable to take the patient to the hospital as planned. When we contacted the company again, instead of offering support, they showed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude. Although a tow truck was mentioned, we were told that we could only receive a replacement vehicle if we came to Istanbul Airport. Being stranded outside the city on a highway with a medical emergency and being told to “come to the airport” is completely unacceptable and puts human safety at risk. I paid ₺5,776.26 for the rental and ₺3,000 as a deposit. The reservation was made via Obilet (Reservation No: #16D8FC4340C5). Due to faulty vehicles, being left stranded during a medical emergency, and the company’s careless response, I suffered both financial and emotional distress. I demand a full refund, appropriate compensation, and a formal apology. Until this issue is resolved, I do not recommend Green Motion and strongly warn others who value their safety to avoid this company.

We called, and in the conversation it was stated in an extremely condescending and sarcastic tone that only the fee for the single day the vehicle was towed could be refunded, and no other responsibility would be accepted. The risk to human life, the interruption of an urgent hospital trip, breakdowns in two separate vehicles, being stranded on the highway, and the indifferent attitude displayed afterward have been completely ignored. This approach is not a solution; it is clearly an attempt to brush off and silence the customer. Trying to portray the incident as merely a “one‑day vehicle breakdown” is unacceptable. This is not a simple technical issue but a serious service fault that endangers human lives. Moreover, the standard messages like “you may contact us again” are not sincere. When you were reached, no constructive solution was offered; instead, the manner of speaking further increased the victim’s distress. Therefore, the matter has not remained limited to Şikayetvar; official complaints have been filed with CİMER, the Ministry of Trade, and the relevant public institutions. The process will continue through the Consumer Arbitration Board and, if necessary, through legal channels. The events cannot be dismissed with standard responses. This approach again demonstrates how justified and serious the complaint is. I present this to the public and the relevant authorities.
