Grab Refused to Refund for Canceled Ride Even After Driver Agreed

Dealing with Grab's refund policy has been a total mess. Recently I paid for a ride, and although the driver never showed up due to a technical issue, the fare was debited from my account. I contacted Grab's customer care right away hoping for a quick fix. Rather, I received flimsy answers and pointless back-and-forth emails that went nowhere. Grab declined to handle a refund even though the driver and I both agreed the ride did not go as planned, citing unclear regulation language. Their bottom line comes first, thus they seem to go out of their way to make refunds almost impossible. Lack of responsibility has made me wonder whether I would ever use Grab once more.
