Gotogate Offers No Alternative After Two Consecutive Flight Cancellations

June 18 3:58 PM

I purchased a ticket for a Seoul–Istanbul flight on July 26th with Scat Airlines through the intermediary company Gotogate. That same day, this flight was cancelled, citing technical reasons. As a result, I purchased another ticket for July 27th, but this flight was also cancelled about two weeks later, and I was sent a cancellation notice.
The fee for the first cancelled ticket was not charged to my card, but for the second ticket, I paid a total of $725, and I was told this amount would be refunded. In my conversations with Gotogate, I was told that both cancellations were carried out by Scat Airlines for technical reasons, but no clear solution or alternative flight was offered beyond that.
I had planned to return to Turkey on July 27th, and due to these cancellations, I'm now facing the risk of having to buy a ticket for that date at a much higher price. Because of the repeated cancellations, I'm losing time and suffering financial hardship.
I am requesting that Scat Airlines and Gotogate rebook me on a new flight within the same date range for my July 27th Seoul–Istanbul trip, without any cancellation risk and without any additional charge, and that the hardship I've experienced be resolved as quickly as possible.
