Google Play Charged Me for Grok/X Premium Without Permission
On June 25, 2026, ₺1,299 was charged to my QNB debit card registered to my Google Play account under the name of a Grok/X Premium subscription for the X (Twitter) platform. This charge was made without my knowledge or consent. I did not request to use, renew, or continue this subscription.
The transaction appears under my Google Play account linked to s****@Gmail.com**. I am trying to start the cancellation and refund process through Google Play, but the issue has not yet been resolved, and I am still financially affected by this unauthorized charge.
I request a full and prompt refund of the ₺1,299 charged to my card without my approval. I also ask Google Play and X to review this subscription renewal process and prevent users from being charged for subscriptions they did not knowingly authorize or intend to renew.
