Boyner Sells $247 Scentless Givenchy Perfume That Fails Tester Performance
On May 29, 2026, I purchased Givenchy L’interdit perfume from the Boyner Ankara Kentpark store. While the tester bottle I tried in the store smelled wonderful and lasted a long time, the item I purchased barely gives off any scent when sprayed on my skin. Despite trying it multiple times throughout the day, the complete lack of longevity and weak scent forced me to constantly ask people around me if they could smell it, which bothers me significantly.
Due to the distinct difference between the tester and the purchased product, along with its lack of fragrance, I suspect that the item might be fake—in fact, I feel convinced it is counterfeit. I paid approximately $247 for the perfume with a credit card, and I still have my receipt and invoice.
I am requesting a product replacement from Boyner because the Givenchy L’interdit perfume I bought does not match the tester's performance and has almost no smell. Although I worry the store might refuse an exchange because the packaging has been opened, there is a serious issue of quality and trust here. Therefore, I demand that the product be inspected and replaced with a new, flawless item as soon as possible. Otherwise, I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
