I purchased two online tickets through GetYourGuide for the Van Gogh Digital Experience Museum for a visit on Sunday, February 1. I paid a total of $46. However, when we arrived at the museum box office, we were informed that the ticket price for Turkish citizens was $6 per person, meaning the same two tickets could have been purchased at the door for a total of $12. The $34 difference between the online price I paid and the box office price is extremely significant and made me feel both financially harmed and clearly misled.
I contacted GetYourGuide customer service regarding this issue, but I was told that no refund or compensation could be provided. My order is registered on GetYourGuide under the name z*** t*** with the order number GYG48YZBR5R7.
I request that GetYourGuide clearly explain the excessive price difference between the local box office rate for Turkish citizens and the online price charged. Due to this unfair pricing, I demand that the amount I paid be adjusted to a reasonable level and that the price difference be refunded to me.
