Gesmoda Refused My Return and Charged Me Shipping
Hello, I bought a dress from Gesmoda Boutique. The dress didn’t look anything like it did online, so I wanted to return it. They told me I didn’t have the right to return it and that I could only exchange it. They also claimed that when I made the purchase, they stated in the distance sales agreement that returns were not allowed. They even made me pay the shipping costs both ways for the item I sent back.
Here is the response they gave regarding the item I wanted to return:
Article 6 – Products that cannot be returned. For discounted or promotional items, the company is not legally obligated to accept returns. Only exchanges can be made. Products in the evening-gown category cannot be returned due to the high risk of damage. If the product is sent back within 3 business days after delivery, an exchange can be made.
