I completed the Gemini student account verification using my university email address. I am a student at Middle East Technical University (METU), and I completed the student verification process using the official institutional email provided by my university around October 13, 2025. Despite this, my account does not open and the system displays an error stating “This account cannot be found.”
When I tried to solve the issue by attempting verification again with a different email address, I encountered another block stating that verification could not be completed and that I cannot register again as a student. As a result, I am stuck in a situation where I cannot use my existing verification and also cannot complete a new verification with a different email address.
Although I contacted Gemini support regarding this issue, I did not receive a clear or satisfactory response. My problem remains unresolved, and no proper guidance has been provided. Even though I have not made any payment or purchased a subscription, being unable to benefit from the student eligibility offered puts me at a disadvantage.
I request that my student account be re-evaluated, that the previous verification start be invalidated, and that I be allowed to complete student verification again using a new email address. I want a fully functional account where my student verification is active and works without issues.
