GCash Refund Request for an Unauthorized Starread Technology PHP 699 Charge

I am writing regarding an unauthorized transaction that was deducted from my GCash account. On November 3, 2026, an amount of 699 PHP was charged to “Starread Technology Limited” with transaction ID AD2117288148451794944, which I did not authorize. I only discovered this transaction when I checked my GCash transaction history and saw the deduction to this merchant. I have not made any purchase, subscription, or payment to Starread Technology Limited and did not give anyone permission to use my GCash account for this purpose. I kindly request that GCash urgently investigate this unauthorized transaction, reverse the charge of 699 PHP, and refund the amount back to my GCash wallet. I also ask that you secure my account and block any possible future unauthorized charges related to this merchant or similar transactions. I expect to be informed of the investigation result and the status of my refund as soon as possible.
