I recently shopped on www.gap.com.tr last week. They sent the products I purchased in two separate shipments via courier. However, they also canceled one of the products I bought. Upon contacting their WhatsApp customer service to inquire about the cancellation reason, they mentioned it was due to stock issues. When I asked if the product was still available on their site, they assured me it would be updated and removed within 72 hours. Surprisingly, the product is still listed on their website, and despite its arrival, they claim they cannot take any further action. Today, I visited the GAP store in Merter to exchange one of the trousers from the other shipment. The staff, particularly the ladies there, were attentive and helpful. However, at the cash register, I was informed of a price difference between the product I intended to exchange and the one I wanted to purchase. Reluctantly, I accepted the change. Yet, they processed the exchange by refunding me the promotional price for the returned product and charging me the new price for the replacement. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction to customer service, they failed to provide any solution. This behavior from a supposedly corporate brand is not only disappointing for failing to deliver a purchased product, even though it's in stock, but also frustrating as they made me pay an extra fee when exercising my right to exchange, citing the end of discount campaigns.
