If G2A charged you extra fees at checkout,
Understand what those fees are first;
• Common G2A fees:
– Service / marketplace fee
– Payment processing fee (PayPal, card, etc.)
– Buyer protection / “Money Back Guarantee” (optional)
• Important:
– These are often added at checkout, making the final price higher than listed
Check if the fee was optional;
• If you were charged for:
– Buyer protection / extra services
• You may:
– Request a refund if you didn’t knowingly select it
– Mention it clearly in your complaint
Try refund through G2A;
• Go to:
– G2A → My Purchases → Contact Seller
• Write:
– “I was charged unexpected additional fees at checkout. I request a partial refund for these charges.”
• Note:
– Refunds depend on seller cooperation since G2A is a marketplace
Escalate if needed;
• If seller refuses:
– Use “Escalate to G2A Support”
– Provide screenshots showing price difference
If resolution stalls, consider filing a complaint on Xolvie for added leverage.
