I own a Franke stovetop, and I’m experiencing a serious safety issue: the knobs get so hot during use that they’re nearly impossible to touch—hot enough to burn your hand. Over time, one of the knobs has even started to melt from the heat. This isn’t just an inconvenience; it’s a real hazard.
When I contacted Franke service, I was shocked to hear that the company does not recognize this as a defect. This kind of response is completely unacceptable coming from a brand with a global reputation. I’ve never had this problem with any other stove I’ve used before, and I can no longer safely use two of the burners because of this overheating issue.
I expected much better from Franke in terms of both product quality and customer support. I’m demanding an immediate solution—either a proper repair, part replacement, or product exchange.
