Fossil FFS6111 Watch Has Repeatedly Failed Despite Multiple Repairs
Approximately 10 months ago, we purchased a Fossil FFS6111 watch. Shortly afterward, the watch began losing time and eventually stopped working completely. We therefore sent the watch to an authorized service center, and it was returned to us after we were told that it had been repaired. However, once we started using the watch again, the exact same problem occurred.
As the problem continued, we sent the watch to the service center for a second time. On this occasion, we were told that no problem had been found, and the watch was returned to us. Despite this, the watch continued to lose time and stop working exactly as before.
Finally, we sent the watch to the service center again and specifically requested a replacement. We were told that the watch had been tested and that no problem involving time loss or stopping had been detected, so our replacement request was denied. Nevertheless, we continue to experience the exact same problem repeatedly during normal daily use.
The fact that the service center has been unable to detect the problem does not mean that the problem does not exist. On the contrary, the recurring issue prevents us from using the product for its intended purpose and makes the watch unreliable.
Despite being sent to service multiple times, the underlying problem has still not been resolved. Therefore, rather than another repair attempt, we request that the watch be replaced with a new one in accordance with the provisions concerning defective goods under Turkey's Consumer Protection Law, or that another appropriate remedy available to us under applicable consumer law be provided.
We expect this matter to be resolved promptly and appropriately, without requiring us to continue sending the same defective product back to service repeatedly.
