Fossil FBQ3802 Watch Battery Died After Minimal Use Despite a Valid Warranty
I purchased a Fossil FBQ3802 watch from Nevçarşı Saat in Üsküdar, Istanbul, in March 2025. I have never experienced a battery-related problem with any of my previous watches, so I was particularly disappointed to encounter an issue with this watch despite barely using it.
I have worn this watch only twice in total. When I wanted to use it again after arriving in Antalya, I discovered that it was no longer working and that the battery had died.
I have been in Antalya for approximately one month, and during this entire period the watch had simply been sitting at home and was barely used. In my opinion, it is unacceptable for a watch that has been used so little and is still relatively new to have its battery die within such a short period or to develop a technical problem.
I am also concerned about the possibility of having to send the watch to a service center. The risk of the watch being damaged or scratched during shipping or while at the service center is an additional concern for me. I would like to emphasize that my watch is covered by a valid warranty from March 1, 2025, through March 1, 2027.
I request that the company resolve this issue promptly and provide me with clear and accurate information about the procedure I need to follow. If the battery needs to be replaced, I expect this to be done quickly under the warranty and at no additional cost to me.
If an inspection determines that the watch has a technical defect, I expect to receive a new watch of the same brand and model as a replacement.
If the watch must be sent to a service center, I specifically request that every necessary precaution be taken to ensure that the product is not damaged or scratched in any way during the process and that it remains in the same new condition in which it was originally delivered to me.
