Fortnite Ranked Points Are Inconsistent, Losing More Points for the Same Placement

While playing Fortnite in a squad, I placed 16th and lost 6 points. The next time I played, I got 1 kill and placed 16th again, but this time I lost 23 points. My rank was the same in both matches, so the drastic difference in point deduction makes no sense and is incredibly frustrating. This inconsistency in the ranking system is really ruining the game for me. If there’s a solution to this issue, please let me know. Otherwise, I’m seriously considering quitting Fortnite and deleting the game soon. I expect a resolution from Fortnite on this issue.
