Complaint About Ford Service Diagnostic Fee And Rail Sensor Misdiagnosis

I am writing to report a serious problem I experienced today with the Ford authorized service centers in Sancaktepe and Kartal, Istanbul, regarding my Ford Mondeo 1.5 EcoBoost with license plate 34 BPM 7**. On the same day, my vehicle had a clearly identified rail pressure sensor fault, which I explained in detail when I arrived at the service. Despite this, I was immediately told that the diagnostic fee would be ₺10,000, without any inspection or confirmation of the problem. The staff’s exact attitude was that since I had already had the car checked outside, the moment they looked at it there would be a ₺10,000 diagnostic charge, plus any additional costs that might arise. I found this approach completely unacceptable and far from the level of professionalism I expect from an authorized Ford service, especially when I came with a known and specific fault. In addition, I previously encountered a similar case at another Ford service location, where multiple parts such as spark plugs, ignition coils, rail pipe, high-pressure fuel pump and fuel pump were replaced unnecessarily. Only after all these costly and seemingly trial-and-error replacements did the service finally replace the rail pressure sensor, which actually solved the issue. Despite this clear pattern, my current case was again handled without proper diagnosis, transparency or consideration of the past experience. These experiences have caused me to lose my trust in Ford authorized services. The costs are excessive, the communication is weak, and as a customer I feel misled and pressured rather than supported. I regret choosing Ford and I am seriously considering leaving the brand because of these service experiences. I request that Ford urgently investigate the pricing policies, customer approach and technical handling of the Sancaktepe and Kartal service centers, review my current case in detail and provide a proper and transparent solution to the rail pressure sensor problem on my vehicle without imposing unnecessary diagnostic or replacement charges. I expect a prompt and fair response.
