Fiat Egea 1.6 Multijet Repeated Service Visits Failed to Fix Ongoing Faults
I am experiencing an ongoing grievance with my Fiat Egea 1.6 Multijet Urban due to problems that have not been resolved for a long time. On 15.09.2025, when my vehicle was at 16,560 km, I went to the Fiat Boranlar Otomotiv authorized service in Mersin / Mezitli and reported the noises coming from the air conditioning and the sounds I heard during downshifting. After the inspection, I was told that there was no problem and that the sounds I heard were normal, and the vehicle was delivered back to me. Later, on 30.12.2025, when my vehicle was at 21,379 km, I took it to the same service for periodic maintenance. After the maintenance, I was informed that there was no problem with the vehicle. However, on 15.01.2026, when my vehicle was at 21,724 km, I applied to the same service again with the same complaints. I reported that the noises from the air conditioning continued, there were sounds during gear shifts, and I had problems with the throttle responses of the vehicle. This time, I was told that the heater core would be replaced. However, it was not clearly explained to me why the part was being replaced, what fault had been detected, and how this replacement was related to my complaints. Despite all these procedures, the problems in my vehicle still continue. Moreover, my trust in the authorized service has been seriously shaken, as I encounter a different explanation or situation on each visit. Although I have applied several times with the same complaints, the root cause of the problem has not been clearly identified and a permanent solution has not been provided. I request that the authorized service and Fiat Türkiye intervene in the matter, that my vehicle be examined in detail, that the real cause of the problems I experience be clearly explained to me, and that a permanent repair be carried out. If a permanent solution cannot be achieved, I also request that my vehicle be evaluated within the scope of defective product and that a change be made if necessary. I am tired of going to the service with the same complaints over and over and I want my vehicle to be brought to a reliably usable condition as soon as possible. Otherwise, I state that I will file complaints with the relevant authorities.
I took it to an authorized service center regarding the complaint I previously submitted to you. After the inspection, I was informed that no problem was detected in the vehicle. However, they said the noises related to the complaint were normal, which I honestly cannot associate with the Fiat brand. The car is no different from a scooter, just that the noises are considered normal. In the future, the inability to resolve existing issues, as well as the impact on the vehicle's market value and sale process, will cause me hardship, so I am considering selling it. Unfortunately, these are incidents unbefitting of the Fiat brand.
