Unauthorized €20 and €40 Charges on Visa From “FamRadar US”

February 28 3:42 PM269

I hold a Visa Classic credit card with BNP Paribas Fortis and use the mobile banking app. On my credit card, two payments were taken that I did not authorize and that are not linked to any service that I use. On 26 January, an amount of €20 was debited, and on 26 February an amount of €40, both with the description “Famradar US - 33301 - Go.Farmradar.I”. I do not know this company or service, and I have not registered anywhere for such a subscription or authorization. I also do not use the corresponding app, and I have not shared my card details consciously with this party. In this context, I kindly request BNP Paribas Fortis to investigate these transactions as unauthorized payments and to refund the amounts of €20 and €40 to my credit card. If these payments appear to be fraudulent, I also expect appropriate measures to protect my card and account data against further misuse. I ask for a clear written response on the outcome of the investigation and the steps taken.
