Request Refund For Findandloc Unauthorized Charge

On 7 January 2026 at around 9:00 p.m., I received an SMS from my Barclays (Absa) savings account with a Visa debit card indicating that an amount of 2,650 had been debited from my account without my knowledge or consent. The message showed the transaction description as FINDANDLOC *C5953577FF +349302959**, with reference ending in xx8407. Immediately after noticing this unauthorized transaction, I contacted Barclays (Absa) customer care. I was advised to block and unsubscribe, which I have done, but my money has not been refunded, and I am very concerned that a transaction I did not authorize was processed from my account. I kindly request that Barclays (Absa) urgently investigate this unauthorized debit, reverse the transaction, and refund the 2,650 to my savings account. I also request written feedback on the outcome of the investigation and measures taken to ensure that such unauthorized debits do not happen again on my account.
