Facebook Password Recovery Fiasco

My problem is that I can't remember the password for my Facebook account, and I want to change it using the "Forgot Password" option, but I can't do either of those things. When I click on the "Forgot Password" tab, on the other hand, it asks me to type in the password that I have already forgotten. How am I supposed to remember a password that I have totally forgotten? It's utter nonsense! Also, when I try to click on a different approach, the page I was already on just refreshes, but nothing has changed. I need you to help me right away with this matter.
