I Can’t Access or Delete My Old Facebook Account—No Support or Way to Verify Identity
I have a very old Facebook account that I can no longer access. I’ve forgotten the password, and the email address and phone number linked to it are no longer in use, so I can’t recover it through the usual steps. I’ve tried everything—password reset options, help articles, and account recovery forms—but nothing works.
Now I just want to permanently delete the account, but there’s no way to contact support or go through identity verification to prove the account is mine. This is extremely frustrating. Facebook should have a clear process for users who want to close an inaccessible account, especially when it’s tied to outdated contact information.
I’m asking Facebook to let me verify my identity and shut this account down immediately. Give us a real support channel—we shouldn’t be left with no control over our own data.
