Ethiopian Airlines Flight from Togo to Istanbul: Luggage Damaged Upon Arrival

On August 14, 2024, I flew with Ethiopian Airlines from Togo to Ethiopia and then onward to Istanbul. When I arrived in Istanbul, my luggage did not arrive with my flight. At the Havaş lost baggage counter, I was informed that my luggage was left behind in Ethiopia and would be delivered to my address. My luggage was eventually delivered, but it arrived severely damaged, with cracks all over it. This has been a frustrating experience, and I am requesting compensation for the damage to my luggage. I trusted Ethiopian Airlines with my belongings, and I expect that my damages be fairly compensated. Please advise on how this issue will be resolved.
