eSIM IO Refuses to Refund My Unused Account Balance

Because I did not know the package prices for international usage, I loaded $50 onto my eSIM IO account using my credit card. During my trip, I used a 5 GB package for Denmark and a 2 GB package for Germany. After returning to Türkiye on May 11, I contacted the support team through the application to request a refund for the remaining $46 balance left in my account.
I was informed that “partial refunds are not possible” and that my remaining balance would therefore not be refunded. This is the first time I have ever heard of such a policy. Many similar applications allow unused balances to be refunded back to the customer’s payment method, so I do not understand why eSIM IO is effectively placing a restriction on my money and refusing to return it.
I do not expect to use the application again anytime soon — perhaps not even for years — so having the balance remain inactive in my account creates a clear financial inconvenience for me. For this reason, I request that the remaining $46 balance in my eSIM IO account be refunded directly to the same credit card I originally used for the payment.
