ATM Took My Money While I Was Depositing to Enpara

While trying to deposit money into my Enpara account via Denizbank ATM number G2769 located in Novaland Shopping Mall in Konya, the machine seized my money twice. The first incident occurred on January 5, 2025, when the ATM accepted my deposit but showed ₺1000 less than what I had actually inserted. I submitted a request through Enpara, but after about 25 days, the response was negative. At that time, I was 80% sure the issue was with that specific ATM, but now I am 1 million percent sure. I had exactly ₺11,000 in my pocket, and when I inserted it into the ATM, a message popped up saying I was depositing ₺10,000. I immediately canceled the transaction and tried to retrieve my money, but when I got it back, five ₺200 notes were missing—₺1000 was simply gone. This wasn’t a jammed bill situation; the ATM flat-out misrepresented my ₺11,000 as ₺10,000. When I asked nearby employees, they said many people had experienced similar issues with that ATM. I'm sorry, but I can’t allow this faulty machine to eat ₺1000 of mine every time I try to deposit money. This money is not easy to earn. I submitted a complaint via Enpara, but I’m unable to report it directly to Denizbank. I’m seriously wondering whether this is a technical issue or a deeper problem. Because if the machine took my ₺1000 today, the system should be showing a ₺1000 surplus. I expect a solution from both banks, but since I’m an Enpara customer, I primarily expect Enpara to resolve this. I also plan to file a formal complaint with the authorities tomorrow.

Hello, through the result of this complaint, we will see whether a person can be very simply victimized in the process of depositing money at an ATM, which is the most basic banking service. There are cameras in ATMs, right? I'm sure they are not installed as decoration. I'm 1 million percent sure, not 100 percent, that I deposited 11,000 TL, there were 35 banknotes of 200 TL, and 30 banknotes of 100 TL. The moment the ATM said you are depositing 10,000 TL, I wanted to withdraw my money back, it worked smoothly and the money compartment opened, and what did I see? The 35 banknotes of 200 TL had decreased to 30, like a joke! And it gave me a total of 10,000 TL. This incident surpasses all the complaints posted on this site on behalf of your bank. Why? Because depositing money at an ATM is one of the most basic banking transactions, and if a bank cannot resolve this in any way, whether it is another bank's ATM or not, there is nothing to discuss about this bank. Why? This happened to me for the second time. I have been your customer for many years and truly have not had any issues apart from this incident, but please resolve this matter as soon as possible, not in 20-25 days. Thank you for your understanding.
