Enfamil Enspire Formula Arrived With Broken Seals: Is It Safe?
Yesterday, on March 31st, my order of Enfamil Enspire Optimum Infant Formula arrived and to my surprise, two of the containers had broken seals. Based on the condition of the package, it doesn't seem like the incident occurred during shipping. It was evident that one container had been tampered with, as the seals on both ends were broken. It seemed like someone had tampered with another container, as the sticker seemed to have been taken off and put back on. I prefer using only two of the four containers. I refuse to take any chances with my baby's formula. I contacted customer service and described my intention to return the two containers that were compromised. I was given a return label and assured that a voucher would be issued for my next purchase. I really hope I don't have to deal with similar problems down the line. I want to have complete confidence in the safety and quality of this formula because my baby adores it and it's said to closely resemble breast milk.
