On June 7, 2025, I booked a rental car through eDreams, paying a total of ₺8,291.24. Shortly after, I was notified that the booking had been canceled by the company. However, despite the cancellation, the charge still appears on my bank account as a pending transaction. I have not been able to access the funds since the moment I made the booking.
I've submitted multiple support requests asking for an ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) or a cancellation receipt—both of which are required by my bank to reverse the transaction. But eDreams refuses to provide either. They claim the reservation has been canceled, but without official documentation to prove it, my bank cannot proceed with any refund.
This lack of cooperation has created significant financial and emotional stress. I cannot get my money back, and the company won’t even respond properly. I am now forced to escalate the situation. If I do not receive the ARN code and refund confirmation immediately, I will file a formal complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board and, if necessary, take the matter to the Ministry of Trade.
eDreams must stop stalling and issue the required documentation so my bank can finalize the refund. I demand this issue be resolved promptly.
