If easyJet didn't let you board because they were overbooked, EU Regulation EC 261/2004 says you can get money to make up for it.
Different amounts of money are given for different lengths of flights: €250 for flights up to 1,500 km, €400 for flights within Europe over 1,500 km, €600 for flights over 3,500 km, and €550 for flights outside of Europe. This is for people who checked in on time but were not allowed to board.
Fill out easyJet's EC261 Compensation Claim Form with your information to get paid. You will need the reference number for your booking and information about your trip.
You can also use the Welfare Expense Claim Form to get back any money you lost because of the delay, such as for food or a place to stay. Keep all of your receipts in case you need to get reimbursed.
If you need more help, easyJet's "Contact Us" page has live chat support available 24/7. Share your experience or make a complaint on Xolvie if your claim isn't resolved within 28 days or is turned down.
