My Dyson V15 vacuum started to have battery problems after the last service (May 2025). After the service, the battery would run out within 1-2 minutes while vacuuming, and then we could continue vacuuming when we plugged it in and out of the charger. Today, it stopped charging. I contacted Customer Services and they told me that the warranty expired at the end of May and that the battery can only be replaced for a fee. I think that this situation I am experiencing is due to the tests performed at the service center or a situation that occurred there and I want the battery of my device to be replaced free of charge.

Dyson customer service is not helpful at all. When I called customer service, they said the problem was with the battery, but told me they couldn't help since it was not covered by the warranty. They said the battery would run out in two years and considered this a normal situation. I didn't want to be further inconvenienced, as we have a pet. I ordered a battery to resolve the issue as soon as possible, but the wrong product was ordered by customer service, and a charger was sent instead of a battery. I called for a return and customer service said, 'This is our normal procedure, we first send a charger, and if the problem is not resolved, we take it back and send a battery.' This sounded very unreasonable to me, and the charger has still not been returned. I also ordered a battery, but I have experienced inconvenience. The customer experience is very bad.
