I bought the Dyson V15 vacuum cleaner on June 21, 2025, for a hefty price—₺30,000—with high expectations. But just 15 days into using it, I noticed that the rubber material on the cyclone section had started peeling. This isn’t just cosmetic; I strongly suspect it’s causing air leakage, which could affect performance.
When I reported this to Dyson, their response was completely dismissive:
“The affected area is only visual. The peeling on the cyclone rubber doesn’t interfere with usage. You can continue using your device.”
So basically, Dyson thinks it’s okay for a brand-new, premium-priced vacuum to look worn out in just two weeks and possibly have reduced efficiency. I’m honestly ashamed of how it looks and had to move it to the back room because it feels like I’m using a secondhand machine.
To those considering buying this product: zoom in on the product photos before purchasing and imagine getting brushed off like this when something goes wrong. If this is what it looks like after 10 days, I can't imagine what it’ll look like in a year.
I expected a lot more from Dyson—especially for what I paid. It’s disappointing to see that a company with this kind of reputation doesn’t stand behind its product. Dyson, you need to take real responsibility and offer a proper solution. This is not acceptable for a high-end product.
