I’ve been using the Dyson V12 vacuum for less than a year, and it’s already falling apart. The rubber parts started peeling off, there’s a visible crack in the dust bin, the plastic around the attachments is damaged, and worst of all—air is leaking from the device, drastically reducing its suction power. This isn’t what I expected from a vacuum I paid over ₺23,000 for, especially considering I also purchased additional insurance for protection.
I contacted Dyson customer service four months ago about the same issues, and they’ve done absolutely nothing. No technician was sent, no parts were replaced, and no help was offered. It feels like once they have your money, they disappear. I’ve ended up with a vacuum that has multiple defects in under a year, and I’ve been completely ignored.
Honestly, I feel like I would’ve been better off buying a ₺5000 vacuum—at least those brands seem to care about their customers and use more durable parts. The materials used by Dyson feel cheap and toy-like, far from the premium quality they claim. Dyson needs to acknowledge these widespread product quality issues and take responsibility. I demand a full repair or replacement and expect immediate action from customer service.
