My Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner has had a battery issue since the 2-year mark, and now—after 4 years of owning it—I still can’t use it due to the same unresolved problem. I contacted Dyson support, and they told me the battery was out of stock and asked me to keep checking for updates. I’ve been monitoring it for months, but it never becomes available.
I also visited Dyson retail locations, and they all redirected me to the main Dyson headquarters. But even after all that, I still haven’t received a single helpful solution. The vacuum is still being sold, yet I can’t get a simple replacement battery for it?
I trusted Dyson as a premium brand, but that trust has completely eroded. A product is only as good as the support behind it—and this experience has been a complete letdown. I demand that Dyson provide a compatible battery immediately so I can use the product I paid for. Please resolve this as soon as possible.
