Dyson V15 Battery Died Under Warranty, No Replacement Timeline Provided

My Dyson V15 Detect vacuum completely stopped working due to a dead battery, even though it’s still under warranty. After contacting customer service and completing a video inspection, I was informed that a new battery would be sent within 3 business days. However, after the deadline passed and no shipment occurred, I contacted customer service again, only to be told that the battery was out of stock.

What’s even more frustrating is that they couldn’t provide an estimated restock or delivery date. How can a premium brand like Dyson fail to maintain stock for essential parts? This is unacceptable. Dyson heavily markets its fast and reliable warranty service, but my experience has been the opposite. I won’t be purchasing another Dyson product. Resolve this issue immediately and send the replacement battery!

Yes, you got in touch. You said the same things and couldn't provide information about the supply process and delivery date. It was delivered to the courier 2-3 days later. We waited an additional 2-3 days for the courier. Just when we said, 'Thankfully it arrived,' this time a battery for the wrong product arrived. Connect to customer service again, explain the situation from the beginning again, and they said, 'Let's take back the wrong battery and send a new one.' Fortunately, they said, 'We have it in stock this time, and we'll send it quickly.' They received the return the very next day. But we're still waiting for the new battery if it comes. Today is 02/05/2025.

"I was contacted and told that the battery would be replaced by calling the service, because there was no battery in stock. I was told that a payment of around 5900 TL would be required. I sent it today. Since the battery life is 2 years, I don't want to pay a high battery price for the vacuum every 2 years. I am renewing the battery once as a one-time thing, and I will probably throw it away in 2 years. It makes much more sense to buy a new vacuum from another company. I don't recommend it to anyone. Thank you for the courteous response."
